HB businesses find extra flights boost face time for growth

Business connectivity is increasingly easier for Hawke's Bay, with more affordable and regular flights to Auckland resulting in more face time for more business opportunities.
The finding is a result of a Business Hawke's Bay (BHB) 12-month Business Connectivity project.
Since the arrival of Jetstar in December 90,000 more travellers have used the airport, ahead of airport company projections.
Project manager Carolyn Neville said it enabled anecdotal feedback to be quantified.
